Love All Serve All is a unique mission opportunity to focus on serving the Wimbledon Tennis fans.
Each summer, for 2 weeks, people from all around the world come to Wimbledon for the tennis. The Wimbledon Championships are unique in that they are the only tennis Championship where people queue for tickets. Thousands of people from all over the world descend on this tiny corner of SW19 and queue overnight. Many people come year after year, and many people come for several days in a row. The fans set up their tents in the park and it feels like a mini festival with a very warm and positive atmosphere.
Love All Serve All demonstrates God’s love to the tennis fans by going out at night, handing out free drinks and cookies, offering prayer and conversation. It is essentially local churches welcoming tennis fans to Wimbledon.
Love All Serve All aims to show the love of God to the people we meet during this fortnight. We believe in blessing, not selling, trusting that it’s God’s kindness that leads us to respond to him. We do this by listening to someone’s story, showing an interest in their life, helping practically where we can, valuing them, offering to pray with people, earning the right to share our story with those who are keen to hear.
